- bonded adjective
Describes a coin that has completed its bonding curve and migrated to a DEX pool. The opposite, still on the curve, is often called pre-bond.
- bonding curve noun
The pricing formula a fresh Pump.fun coin trades on before it has a normal liquidity pool. Price rises as tokens are bought from the curve and falls as they are sold back.
- boosts noun
Paid promotion on DEX Screener that raises a token's visibility on trending lists for a period of time.
- Bubblemaps proper noun
A tool that visualizes token holders as connected bubbles, making wallet clusters and linked supply easy to spot.
- bundle noun / verb
A group of transactions submitted together so they land in the same block, often used by devs to buy launch supply across many wallets at once.
- bundled supply noun
The share of a token held by wallets that bought in the launch bundle. High bundled supply usually means one party controls much more than the holder count suggests.
- creator fees noun
A share of trading fees paid to the coin's creator wallet on some launchpads, including Pump.fun. A dev living off fees has a reason to keep volume up.
- CTO noun
Community takeover. When the original dev has abandoned or dumped a coin and holders take over the socials, art and promotion themselves.
- deployer noun
The wallet that created the token. Checking what else the deployer has launched is the fastest way to spot a serial rugger.
- dev noun
Whoever deployed the coin. On Pump.fun this usually means the creator wallet, not a developer in any technical sense.
- dev buy noun
The amount of supply the creator buys in the same transaction as the launch. A large dev buy means the dev can dump on everyone.
- dex paid phrase
The coin's team has paid for an enhanced token profile on DEX Screener. Shows some spending, proves nothing about quality.
- DEX Screener proper noun
A chart and token data site used by almost everyone to look up a coin's price, liquidity and pairs.
- freeze authority noun
A permission that lets the token creator freeze any holder's tokens. If it is enabled, buyers may be unable to sell.
- fresh wallet noun
A wallet with little or no history before buying a coin. Many fresh wallets in the top holders often points to one person splitting supply.
- graduation noun
The moment a Pump.fun coin fills its bonding curve and its liquidity moves to a DEX pool. Most coins never get there.
- holder distribution noun
How a token's supply is spread across wallets. Healthier when no small group holds most of it.
- Jito tip noun
A payment to validators running Jito to include a transaction or bundle quickly and in order. Snipers and bundlers rely on it.
- king of the hill noun
A Pump.fun badge for the coin closest to completing its bonding curve. Gets a coin featured and often triggers a rush of buys.
- launcher noun
Someone who launches coins, often many of them, sometimes as a business. Also used for tools that automate launches.
- migration noun
Moving a coin's liquidity from the launchpad curve to a regular DEX pool. Pump.fun coins now migrate to PumpSwap; earlier ones went to Raydium.
- mint authority noun
The permission to create more of a token. Revoked mint authority means supply is fixed. Pump.fun coins launch with it revoked.
- new pairs noun
The feed of freshly launched tokens on a trading terminal. Where trenching starts.
- priority fee noun
An optional extra fee on a Solana transaction that makes validators more likely to include it quickly. Raised during busy launches.
- Pump.fun proper noun
Solana launchpad where anyone can create a token in seconds. New coins trade on a bonding curve first and move to a DEX pool once the curve fills.
- PumpSwap proper noun
Pump.fun's own DEX, where graduated Pump.fun coins get their liquidity pool.
- Raydium proper noun
A major Solana DEX and AMM. Older Pump.fun coins migrated there, and many non-Pump launches still pool there.
- sniper noun
A wallet or bot that buys a coin in the first blocks after launch, before most people can see it, and often sells into the first wave of buyers.
- socials noun
A coin's X account, Telegram, website and similar links. Missing socials is a red flag; having them is the minimum, not proof.
- terminal noun
A trading app built for fast memecoin trading: new pairs feed, holder data, one-click buys. Axiom, GMGN, Photon and BullX are common examples.
- top holders noun
The largest wallets of a token, usually checked as the top 10 combined percentage. Excludes the liquidity pool if the tool is decent.
- trading bot noun
A Telegram bot or app that trades for you from a chat window, holding your keys or a delegated wallet. Fast, convenient, and a security trade-off.
- trending adjective / noun
Appearing on a platform's trending list, which is partly organic volume and partly paid boosts. Being trending brings eyes, not guarantees.
- vanity address noun
A contract address with a chosen ending, like the pump suffix on Pump.fun coins. Not a mark of quality, just a ground out keypair.
- wallet cluster noun
A group of wallets that appear to be controlled by the same person, usually linked by shared funding or transfers between them.
